The Door to Door Work

DOOR TO DOOR: This is part of the churches on going weekly evangelistic activity.

AIM: Our purpose in this work is a simple one. It is to challenge people, on a one to one basis, with the Gospel of The Lord Jesus Christ. We do not wish to promote the virtues of any particular church, or to win arguments and debates on religion. We simply desire that people might hear about the Love of God in sending His Only Begotten Son to die on a cross for a world of lost sinners, and to point people to ‘The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world’ John 1:29 ‘Speaking the truth in love,’ being the attitude with which we seek to approach this work

This we believe to be part of our obligation as Christian people, to obey the command of the Saviour to:- ……”Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” Mark 16:15

To this end we try to leave a copy of St. Johns gospel with every home we visit, so that people can have at least part of Gods word in their own homes to read at their leisure

RESPONSE:- Rarely is there a time when we return from this work not rejoicing in the opportunities God has granted us to share the ‘unsearchable riches of Christ.’ Though some may close the door, there are nearly always those who will listen to the message and are genuinely appreciative of the visit and grateful for the copy of St. Johns gospel.

Latest:- January 07 We are currently working around the Shuttleworth area of the our town. Please pray that the message of the Gospel might be received by the folks in that area.
